So....the new place I've been referred to is a Developmental Center at a local leading Children's Hospital that specialies in diagnosing Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. That's good.
However, their waiting list is 6+ months long. That's not so good.
Sigh.

I know, the wait is AWFUL! My little guy was 6 months, older was 12 month wait.. But once you get in the door, your golden.. Hang in there.. I understand your frustration.. There need to be more Pediatric Neurologists able to diagnose.. We only had 2 in our entire county.. Just 2!!! Good luck...
ReplyDeleteLittle known secret.... If you have the time (and the energy!) call the office everyday, or every couple of days to see if they've had any cancellations. The squeaky wheel does get the grease!!! Good luck:)
